Kooyong Road, St. Kilda
Granite
Nothing says prestige better than bespoke natural stone, and this project on Kooyong Road in St Kilda is the perfect example.
With a family swimming pool, spa and outdoor entertaining area, granite was the ideal choice to build the clients dream space.
Our team achieved simple clean lines that complemented the striking modern architecture of the home through custom granite pavers produced according to the client’s specifications.
Granite provided excellent slip and stain resistance as well as strength and durability, making it the perfect pool coping for this modern masterpiece.
This project beautifully utilised the elegant simplicity of Pearl White granite for a clean, contemporary style. Contrasting with the Pearl White are bands of Aniseed granite which run through both the paving and walling.
Moving in to the home, there is a continuation of the Pearl White as large format tiles to seamlessly merge the indoor and outdoor living areas.
Working closely with the construction team at Goodfish Pools & Landscapes, the attention to detail was second to none and the results were superb.
As the Gold Award winner for Pool of the Year at the 2011 SPASA Awards of Excellence, this project remains one of our all-time favourites.
